The Purpose

Fishing has been around since the beginning of human civilization itself.  Fishing has helped coastline and riverside civilizations survive for thousands of years.  Though fishing has changed very little, it has had some technological advances over recent times, which has made fishing a much easier to enjoy and a more reliable way to provide food for one’s self. 

The purpose of this research was to explore the subculture of today's average fisherman, while making comparisons on how fishing as a whole has changed over the years.
